these sandwiches are cruelty-free. the films… are not.
I started this blog as a testament to my love of sandwiches and film. And specifically (obviously too), films on the subject of war. Inspired by Saving Private Ryan, I wanted to dive deep into films that have the capacity to bring us into the horrors of war, test our empathy, twist our minds with the cinematography, and ultimately (and hopefully) make us see that war is hell. Just ask the women.
Sandwiches, though — sandwiches are not hell! They’re my favorite thing on Earth! So you can only imagine the juxtaposition of these two things, but humans are complicated and I am a human, so I’m going to drop these posts like they’re hot. And some will be hot! As in hot sandwiches, rather than just regular cold cuts.
Enough of my rambling! The fact remains that I love war movies and I love sandwiches.
